Toasted Artisan Kitchen

For this post I am discussing my visit to a local cafe in my area, Toasted Artisan Kitchen. Toasted is located within Carryduff, fifteen minutes outside of Belfast City Centre. The cafe is well known locally and especially during the current circumstances I believe it is very important to support small local businesses that have struggled to stay open during the Covid-19 epidemic.

While Toasted has social media accounts, they do not post regularly. They rely on word-of-mouth through customers and through their locals to promote their business. This is one way I believe the business could widen their consumer scope, by promoting the business more. As I've mentioned before social media is arguably the best method of marketing in this day and age - cheap and effective.

The premises are decorated in a very minimalistic way, with a new recent expansion. An addition I personally love is their blackboard menu. Whilst there I opted for the "Toasted Breakfast", a really nice meal. All the components of the classic Ulster Fry, without the grease and guilt. My friend who I dined with ordered the "French Toast and Bacon" this was combined with maple syrup and was also delicious. All of which accompanied with their amazing coffees made for a perfect "Brunch" location. They also feature a whole selection of buns, traybakes and scones which unfortunately I was too full to try.

To conclude, an amazing cafe which deserves more attention - especially during these trying times for the hospitality industry.
