For today's post, I'll be recapping on a visit to one of my newly found favourite places to eat. The recap is purely due to the fact we are actually unable to eat out currently.
It is located in a very convenient location, central to Belfast city centre. Right beside the very popular cathedral quarter, meaning they may get a lot of traffic purely due to the location. The building is beautifully decorated and eye-catching when you pass. Marketing wise, they are very prominent on social media. Constantly informing followers of new deals or discounts and advertising their specials. The use of their social media is definitely a credit to the business, customers are always aware of new additions to menus or newly advertised discounts. In addition to this, it is also done on somewhat of a personal/causal approach - using very inclusive languages.
Northern Whig over the past year has become one of my favourite places to eat. The service is always friendly, whilst also being fast and efficient. Due to the place being a bar/restaurant combo, it means it has a slight advantage over other restaurants bar wise. The Whig has an amazing cocktail menu and are always offering deals and discounts on said cocktails. Some of which are pictured below!
Regarding food, this place offers customer favourites - from a steak sandwich, to a burger, to noodle dishes. In my opinion, something to please everyone.
I think it's also important to note that each time I have visited here, it has been for very different types of occasions - date nights, family gatherings and meeting friends. Each of these times Northern Whig has catered to me and my party perfectly. For me desserts are always a must when dining out. However - I do not have much experience with their dessert menu as each time I visit I have the Sticky Toffee Pudding. Which is debatably the best pudding I have ever tasted.
